A renewal for agriculture
Discover how Drone Des Champs is revolutionizing the world of agriculture with its drones and expertise.
Drones in agriculture have become increasingly popular with farmers as a definite tool to gain knowledge about their fields.
You are a vegetable producer, a grain farmer or an agronomist and you want to optimize the time in your fields? Our RGB, multispectral, thermal imagery solutions can help you :
- Discover stress area such as wetlands.
- Highlight the differences between healthy plants in distress.
- Save time and be more efficient walking the fields.
- Analyze biomasses and your yield.
- Delimiting territories.
However, all of these challenges require the systematic and regular capture of information. The accuracy depends on the drone flight altitude but above all on the challenge you want to meet.
Once images are collected through the use of drone or any other equipment, we will process and analyse your data to answer your agricultural needs .
We offer a full range of services, depending on what you might need :
– image capture by drone
– GIS software expertise (Qgis)
– Dedicated solutions using AI
Do you have a specific need on your farm ? Drone Des Champs can help you.
Research and development
Drone Des Champs carried out numerous pilot projects during the 2019 season with the aim to capture image data essential to the development of algorithms. Indeed, it is the quality, the quantity and the recurrence of image data capture that is the key to success of AI and Deep Learning algorithms
Our first AI counting tools are now in development. But whatever your need, our team will help you build a dedicated solution. You might need to know the immediate condition of your field; but in the short-term future, we will help build a precise localization, counting and calibration tools that will give you a head start against your competition.
Spraying drone are still heavily regulated in Canada, but we are hard at work with our partners and the authorities to advance the legislation . With our help, your project might received an experimental R&D authorization to test this technology.
This service remains commercially offered overseas (conditions may apply)
Drone Des Champs overseas operations have helped tea leaves producers in Sri Lanka and fruit producers in Latin America to experience the speed and efficiency of spraying by drone on bananas, pine apples or sugar cane plantations.
Today, Health Canada’s Pest Control Regulatory Agency (PMRA) is interested in the registration of crop protection products by drone spraying..
This service is of particular interest for the agricultural sector::
for its precision (targeted spraying)
for its quality (low drift and focus on designated areas)
for its easiness to operate in in areas inaccessible by conventional equipment (slopes, wetlands or any other dangerous environment)
specific crops (vegetables, arboriculture, horticulture, vines)
at growth stages where manual labor is not easily achievable (maize, cranberries)
for agronomic research sites, in particular on micro-plots.
