Who are we?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Founded in Quebec in 2017 by Nicolas Deschamps, Drone Des Champs is an incorporated company that offers innovative & technological solutions using drone, imagery and artificial intelligence,sectors of agriculture and environment.<\/p>\n

Our expertise in the area of drones, imagery and SIG data make us a leader in Quebec. We accompany our clients in the development of dedicated solutions allowing them to better understand their land and mitigate the risk inherent in their production.<\/p>\n

Founding members combine experience in agriculture, project management and new technologies.<\/p>\n

Drone Des Champs (DDC) was born in May 2017 following the fierce desire of its founder Nicolas Deschamps to combine technology and reasoned agriculture.\u00a0 DDC\u2019s mission is to offer a turnkey service to farmers that will help them maintain their productivity while becoming greener. Is it a challenge? Yes, it is but the planet and the human species need it because our population is expected to reach nearly 10 billion by 2050.<\/p>\n

Using the drone in agriculture is an emerging trend all over the world and it is especially efficient in high value-added production. An using AI tools to help make decision is only possible if there is enough qualitative date. Drone Des Champs therefore launched in spring 2019 a pilot project to collect image data with its network of farmers .<\/p>\n

This pilot project constitutes the first stage of the services offered by Drone Des Champs. Once collected, processed and interpreted, the images will allow farmers to act locally in the treatments of the field (watering, leveling, adding pesticides).<\/p>\n

In May 2020 Drone des Champs is incorporated with its two new shareholders, Sophie Chainel and Gil Weisman. The addition of project management , data processing by computer vision and AI skills, allows Drone Des Champs to offer a solution for counting accurate lettuce plants. Our product will be released in 2021, then we will diversify into the counting of various crops by prioritizing the most recurring requests from our customers.<\/p>\n
